IESE’s CIEC and University of Navarra Host EMMA Conference

On Feb. 8-9, IESE played host for the European Media Management Education Association (EMMA) annual conference. This year, the theme of the conference was “The Changing Environment of the Media.”

The European Media Management Education Association is an international not-for-profit organization that was founded in 2003 in response to the dramatic growth in media management courses and programs at higher education institutions throughout Europe.

The event took place within the framework of IESE’s 50th anniversary celebration, and was organized by IESE’s International Research Center for Media Companies and the University of Navarra’s Department of Communication.

Presenters came from institutions all over the Euro Zone.
During the event, recent research on media management trends was presented, as well as the development of communication markets.

New business models, uncertainty in the current landscape and industry performance were among the specific topics addressed.
