- In the course of its annual meeting, held at
the Barcelona campus on February 27, the IESE International Advisory Board
analyzed the situation of the world economy and the main problems facing
it.
- Approximately 150 senior top managers participated
in IESE´s International Senior Executive Programs in 1997. The participants
came from many of the world´s top companies and from all over the
globe.

Program
On Friday, February 13, the Alumni Association
held a Continuous Education Program session in London. IESE's professor
Jaume Ribera talked about the operationalization of marketing concepts:
customer satisfaction, customers loyalty, service quality and customer
perceived value.

- The diffusion
of business knowledge
In 1995 a group of management experts gathered in Barcelona to look into
the question of how organizations obtain, adapt and use different kinds
of knowledge. Three years on, the result, a volume entitled The Diffusion
and Consumption of Business Knowledge edited by IESE's Professor José
Luis Alvarez, has now seen the light of day.
