Lagos Business School programs at IESE


Alumni from the Executive MBA of the Lagos Business School (Nigeria) participated in a short program at IESE on "The Company's Value Chain" during the first week of September.
The coordinator of the program was LBS finance professor Enase Okonedo.
The 23 participants expressed their appreciation to the IESE professors who took part in the course.
"As we depart, we undertake to continually preserve and project the ideals of professionalism, ethics, work, excellence, and regard for the human person, and above all, the entrepreneurial spirit which has earned IESE its reputation as one of the leading business schools in the world", wrote the class president to IESE's Dean, Carlos Cavallé.
During the second week of September, alumni from LBS, top executives and general managers from Nigerian companies, participated in another program, "Competitive Strategy and Value Creation", at IESE.

Volkswagen Focuses on EVA at IESE
Volkswagen is sending several groups of top executives to IESE for a custom program focused on EVA (Economic Value Added).
Coordinated by the International Executive Education team, headed by Rory Simpson, the program includes sessions with professors Pedro Nueno, Ahmad Rahnema, Alfredo Pastor and Paddy Miller.
Program sessions will be held in October and November, 1999, and February and March, 2000.
