the US Alumni Association, Fritz Folts (MBA 91), and Professor
Mª Julia Prats have written a report on the 99 US Alumni
Meeting for our Magazine
Summary
The IESE US Alumni reunion in New York
City was a great success. Thankfully, we were spared any problems
from Hurricane Floyd and the weather turned out to be terrific
for a weekend in Manhattan. The meeting began on Friday, when
alumni gathered at The Roger Smith Hotel, our base of operations
at 47th and Lexington. Alumni assembled there throughout the
evening and then a group of 15 went for a relaxed dinner...
The visit ended in a conference room and Georg Kell, from the
Executive Office of the UN Secretary General, gave us a talk
about the new role that business can play in relation with the
UN. Business can take steps to promote this relationship, ad-vocating
a strong UN, putting universally accepted principles into practice
and working more with UN agencies. |
10th IAACE Reunion
Celebrated in Rödermark
| November 13 & 14, 1999.-Following the suggestion of last year's participants
in Weilburg, the organization focused this year on attracting
IESE graduates to come as guest speakers and share their experiences
in order to strengthen the relationship among all of us. |
