de la verdad y el bien

Resumen:
El buen líder, aquel que conduce a los demás hacia
metas altas, el verdadero líder, es un hombre sabio. El
autor destaca, entre las fuentes de la sabiduría, la tradición
y el ejemplo de otros sabios, aunque subraya también que
no basta con aplicar máximas o teorías, sino que
hay que tratar de entender el porqué de lo que han hecho
otros, con una actitud de compromiso y búsqueda de la
verdad y el bien. Desde una perspectiva humana y con vistas a
su aplicación en la empresa, se subraya la importancia
de reflexionar con hondura, pensando en las personas y no sólo
en los resultados a corto plazo. El líder debe querer
actuar bien aunque suponga sacrificar otras cosas, buscando y
tratando de orientar la conducta hacia la excelencia... El esfuerzo
es eficaz. El líder sabio seduce porque sus colaboradores
advierten que busca sinceramente la verdad y actúa de
acuerdo con ella, buscando el bien para sí mismo, para
la empresa y para los demás.
A good leader one
who leads others to achieve higher goals, a true leader
is a wise person. Among the sources of wisdom, the author emphasizes
tradition and the example of other wise people, though he also
points out that it is not enough merely to apply maxims or theories.
One must also attempt to understand why it is that others have
done things with a sense of compromise, in pursuit of the truth
and what is right. From a human perspective and with a view to
applying it in business the author also underlines the importance
of reflecting in depth; of thinking about people and not just
short-term results; of desiring to act properly even if this
involves making sacrifices; of searching for and committing oneself
to the truth; of seeking what is right; of attempting to direct
one's behaviour towards excellence... The effort is worth it.
Wise leaders are attractive because the people working with them
can see that they are sincerely seeking the truth and acting
accordingly, seeking the best for themselves, for the company
and for others. |
