For
anyone who wants to be a leader...
Never
has it been so clear as it is now to academics, employers and managers that
management is service, that a true leader is a person who exercises his
or her power in order 'to serve' others and not 'be served' by them

Resumen:
This
article analyses the past, present and future of corporate ethics,
based on the observations made at the recent Ethics Colloquium held
at IESE. The author believes that we are living through a positive
renaissance of ethics, although he points out several aspects in which
the experts have "come unstuck", such as the confusion between
ethics on the one hand and a set of prohibitions or minimum behaviour
levels on the other. In spite of these obstacles, the author's conclusions
are encouraging: we are making firm progress as regards the demands
of our society, which requires greater responsibility from management
and behaviour which is more efficient and fair.
eficaz y justo. |
