The MBAs conquer Paris
The campus of the HEC-ISA University on the outskirts of Versailles provided the stage for a competition in 21 sports between more than one thousand students from HEC, MBS, RSM, LBS, INSEAD, ESADE, IMD, SDA Bocconi and IESE.
IESE participated in all categories, including track, chess, sailing, golf, tennis, basketball and football, and finished third, beaten only by the INSEAD and the LBS teams. Our teams particularly shone in the track, rowing, handball and girls soccer, categories in which they came in first.
As well as an opportunity for sporting competition, the event served as a meeting-place for many cultures and offered the chance for students from different countries to share their experiences and impressions, not to mention the possibility of enjoying Paris and its most typical sights. In short, the event was a well-deserved break after a hard year's work on the MBA Program.
This year, thanks to the special sponsorship of Johnson & Johnson, "la Caixa" and Mercer Management Consulting, a red shirt distinguished the representatives of IESE, who never faltered in their encouragement of the team throughout the weekend.
