A team of professors from IESE, IAE (Argentina) and UPADE (Peru) led by Dr. Magdalene Rosenmöller organized the writing of 13 case studies and taught them at the Europe and the Americas Forum on Health Sector Reform 'The Challenge of Health Reform: Reaching the Poor', organized by the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank in Costa Rica in May 2000

2000 Conference for European Human Resource
The conference was held on june 22 and 23, and it draw more than 100 Human Resource Directors to IESE's campus in Madrid.
Among others, there were executives from IBM, Bayer, Sony and Henkel.
The new economy's need for greater flexibility and mobility in workers is revolutionizing corporate human resource policies.
According to professor Javier Quintanilla, "new technology, rapid globalization and increased competition is changing companies' entire operations and client expectations".
To adapt to the rithym of the new economy both companies and workers alike have been forced to become more flexible, creative and mobile. So, said Guiseppe Adezio from Sony, "one of the most important parts of mobility is to motivate people".

Peregrinación del IESE en Madrid a la Almudena
El último día de mayo, cerca de 200 personas entre profesores, alumnos, Antiguos Alumnos y personal administrativo de la sede del IESE en Madrid, se reunían en la Catedral de La Almudena para "pedirle a nuestra Madre, Santa María de la Almudena, la conversión de nuestro corazón y por Su intercesión darle gracias a Dios por el don de la fe", según las palabras iniciales de Don Pelegrín Muñoz, capellán del IESE, en su homilía.
