Like everything else in life, working from home can have its advantages and its disadvantages. Some of the work completed by participants in the first Global EMBA program is done on-line from their own homes, and this is just one of several features that make this program a new experience for its participants.
The 20 students on the first Global EMBA program have now had sufficient flying hours to be able to make an initial assessment. Face-to-face residential modules have been combined with on-line distributed learning, and the traditional structure of the MBA program has been transferred to the Net. How is it going? On balance, the results are very positive, but there is no doubt that the working dynamic is quite different.
