Manuel Baldasano has been appointed managing director of Atento Puerto Rico, based in Caguas, Spain. He was previously director of planning and corporate development for Grupo Atento.

Neither his age nor his responsibilities as father of 10 children has managed to deter the academic ambitions of Juan Francisco Mira. At the age of 56, he earned a doctorate cum laude at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia on Oct. 28. His thesis centered on the design and application of a model to identify and evaluate business culture and create change.
